Pure rosé wine aged in barrels
The La Plana estate is located on the old royal road from Reus to Prades and Lleida, in the Cornudella de Montsant valley, between the Montsant and Les Gritelles mountains. Harvested by hand in early October. Vinification with spontaneous fermentation with autochthonous yeasts for 20 days at a controlled temperature. Aging with the grape skins in stainless steel vats for 6 months and for 10 months in 225-liter casks with their lees.
Bright rosé color. Changing aromas in the glass, the notes of red fruit are enriched over the days and more ripe fruit aromas appear. Memories of red fruits and thyme scents and subtle mineral notes. In the mouth, it has an unctuous and wide attack. The mouthfeel leaves the mark of the power of Grenache but with a fresh and delicate finish that invites you to continue tasting. Wine that expresses the characteristics of red Grenache and contains the fresh perfumes of a white wine made with its lees. Rosé wine in its purest state, that transmits the variability of the color of red Grenache.
Salads, pasta, grilled fish and meats.
